Simplex Infrastructure Ltd.

Our office is over in North Tarapukur, right on B.C. Sen Road. It’s at Bikash Ch. Nandy’s place. Agarpara is a busy neighborhood, and we are right in the thick of it. We do a lot of civil work in this part of Kolkata for Simplex Infrastructure Ltd. The office is usually a bit of a mess with site reports and ledger books. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy. Usually, you’ll just find one of the supervisors sitting there drinking tea and looking over some drawings. We focus on the technical side of infrastructure. It’s a lot of math and heavy machinery. The noise from the road outside is pretty constant. We’ve been at this address, Kol-109, for quite some time now. Most of us are local people. We know where to get the best supplies and which roads to avoid during the high tide. It’s a practical way of working. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just want to make sure the concrete sets right and the beams are secure. There’s always someone coming in with a problem that needs solving. We take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of sweat and hard work, but that’s the nature of construction. We’re just a regular bunch of folks doing our jobs here. Sometimes the days are long, but we get through the task list.
