We are based out in Sarangabad, which is in the Maheshtala area of South 24 Parganas. Our office is located c/o Ganesh Chandra Bera. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are coming from the main parts of the city, but this is where the actual work is happening. The area is a mix of old family houses and new industrial spots. We focus strictly on the infrastructure side, so we are usually dealing with a lot of heavy materials and big work crews. The office is pretty simple, just a place to keep the tools, the safety gear, and the logbooks. We do not go for anything fancy or decorative. The weather in this part of Bengal can be really tough, with the heavy rains messing up our construction schedules quite often. We just adapt to the mud and keep going. My team is used to long hours and getting their hands dirty. We do not have any polished sales pitches or brochures. We just show up at the site and get the foundation laid or the columns built properly. It is a lot of physical work and constant planning. You can usually find us discussing the next site plan over some local snacks in the afternoon. It is a noisy, busy environment, but we would not have it any other way. People know us by our reputation on the ground.
