Shyam Group Of Industries

Our office is tucked away at 4/123 Ram Mohan Mullick Garden Lane in Kol-10. This is where Shyam Group Of Industries does its administrative stuff. It’s a narrow lane and finding a place to park is always a headache. The building is older and has that specific Kolkata feel to it. Inside we have a few rooms filled with files and old desks. We’ve been here for years and the neighbors know us well. We handle the paperwork for the various industry projects we have going on. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time but we make it work. The fan overhead makes a clicking sound that we’ve all just gotten used to over the years. We usually have tea brought in from the stall down the street twice a day. It’s not a polished corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular place where work gets done. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep things simple and don’t really go in for any of that modern office flair. Most of us have been working together for a long time so we don’t need many rules. We just show up and do what needs doing every single day.
