Shriram Industries & Exports Limited

Our office is situated at 29/2 Sahapur Colony, over in Block-J of New Alipore. If you know Kolkata-53, you know it is a busy area, but our street stays a bit quieter than the main roads. Shriram Industries & Exports Limited has been operating out of this space for some time now. It is a typical old-school office building with high ceilings and heavy desks. We handle a lot of logistics and paperwork for the export side of things. There is always someone checking a manifest or talking to a driver on the phone. The morning starts with tea and a look at the ledger. We do not have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, find the desk they need, and start talking. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we are used to it. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we have stayed right here in this corner of Sahapur Colony. It is a solid place to work. We deal with a lot of different products going out to different places, so the day never really feels the same. We do not use any big slogans. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun goes down. It is a practical business run by people who know the streets of New Alipore well. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the shipments out on time.
