Shree Shyam Collections

Zakaria street is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. Shree Shyam Collections is right here at number 52. We have been around for quite a while now. Most days it is just us opening the shutters early and getting things ready for whatever comes. People come in looking for different things. Some are regulars from the neighborhood who stop to chat, others just pass by while shopping for other stuff. It’s a tight space but we manage to fit everything in. We keep a variety of stock on the shelves, mostly clothes and textiles. Sometimes the stock moves fast and the shelves look empty, other times it takes a bit longer and things pile up. We don’t have any fancy displays or those bright lights you see in malls. It is just a regular shop where you can find what you need without a lot of fuss. The street outside is noisy with all the rickshaws and people shouting, but inside it’s just work. We deal with suppliers and try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when the new bundles arrive on the rickshaws. My father started this years ago. We don't spend money on big ads or social media. Usually, people just know us by word of mouth or they see the sign when they are walking to the main crossing. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but that is how it goes. If you are near Zakaria street, you will find us easily enough.
