Shree Shanti Polysacks is based out of Fortuna Towers on Netaji Subhash Road. We are way up on the 7th floor in Room 17. Being near Coal India Bhavan means it’s a very busy part of the city, and the streets are always packed with people and vehicles. Our work is all about polysacks—those big heavy-duty bags used for packing all sorts of industrial stuff. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of moving these bags from one place to another. The office in Fortuna Towers is usually buzzing with the sound of people talking on phones and the rustle of paperwork. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it suits the nature of the packaging business. Netaji Subhash Road has a certain energy to it that you can’t escape. We have to deal with the heat in the summer and the crowded elevators every single day. The 23A address is easy enough to find if you know the area, but the traffic can be a real headache for anyone coming to visit. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the sacks out to the people who need them. There are stacks of samples in the corner and files piled up on the desks. It is a very practical, no-nonsense environment where we focus on the day-to-day tasks of the poly-sack trade without much fuss.
