Shree Nidhi

Shree Nidhi is located on the first floor of 58 Elliot Road. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Mukhtaar Tower, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Being on the first floor means we are slightly away from the direct noise of the street, but you can still hear the trams and the honking of the cars all day long. Elliot Road is a very old part of the city, and the building we are in has that classic, slightly worn-out feel with high ceilings and old windows. We have a few rooms where we handle our daily business, and it is mostly filled with paper, old files, and a few computers. It’s not a modern glass office; it’s more like a place where real work happens without any pretense. We spend a lot of time looking out at the traffic towards Mukhtaar Tower while we have our tea. The light in the afternoons is quite nice through the big windows, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist, you just walk up the stairs and find us. It’s a straightforward setup for us, and we have been here long enough that the local shopkeepers downstairs are like family. We just keep our heads down and get through the day’s work in this historic part of town. Sometimes the rains make the old walls feel a bit cold, but we keep going until the work is finished.
