Shivam Banquet Hall Guest House

Shivam Banquet Hall Guest House is right there on Bangur Avenue, number 36. If you find the SBI Bank, you basically found us since we are right near it. We have been here in this building for a long time. People come here for weddings or just to stay the night if they are traveling through. It is not a five-star place with gold curtains, but the rooms are okay and the hall is big enough for a good crowd. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after parties. There is always someone dragging a chair or fixing a light bulb before an event starts. The street can get busy with cars, especially on weekends when there is a big function. My cousin helps with the bookings and sometimes we lose the pen, but we figure it out. We have some fans and some AC rooms too. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful with big suitcases. We like the neighborhood because everything is close by. If you need a snack or a tea, there are shops right outside. It gets noisy when the drums start playing for a wedding, but that is part of the life here. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure the guests have a spot to sleep. It’s a family-run thing mostly, and we are usually around the front desk if someone needs a key. We've seen many families celebrate here over the years.
