We are located in the 700090 area of Kolkata. It is a quieter part of the city compared to the center, which we like. Shilpak Tours And Travels is a small family-run business. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It is just a plain room where we have our computers and a few cupboards for our records. Most of our work is done over the phone or through people we know. We have lived in this part of Kolkata for our whole lives, so we know the streets and the people well. When someone wants to go on a trip, they usually just call us or drop by the house. We sit down with a cup of tea and look at the options together. It is a very slow and relaxed way of doing things. We don't have a website that does everything automatically. We prefer to talk to people and figure out what they actually need. Sometimes the paperwork takes a long time because we are doing it all manually. The walls are filled with photos that customers have sent us from their trips over the years. It makes the place feel a bit more personal. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just like helping our friends and neighbors get to where they want to go. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
