Shalimar Tanneries (P) Ltd.

Our place is on Terretta Bazar Street, which is a very old part of the city. Being at number 10 means we are right in the middle of all the noise and activity of the bazaar. Shalimar Tanneries (P) Ltd. has been here for years, and you can definitely tell by the look of the place. The walls are stained and the floors have seen a lot of heavy use. There is always a strong smell of leather and processing chemicals, but after working here for a week, you don't even notice it anymore. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. We spend our days handling hides and making sure the quality is what it should be. The street outside is always packed with carts and people, so getting anything in or out is a bit of a headache. We usually have to do it very early or late. Inside the building, it’s quite dark, with heavy machinery taking up most of the space. We don’t have a lot of modern conveniences, just the basic stuff to get the job done. It’s honest, hard work, and by the end of the day, everyone is usually pretty tired. We grab some food from the street vendors nearby before heading home. It’s a busy life in a crowded part of town, but we’re used to the pace of it.
