Sembawang Infarstructure (India)

You can find us in Garia, specifically on Balia Main Road. The office is right behind the Prantika Apartment building. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and Garia is no exception to that rule. The road outside is always full of rickshaws, buses, and people heading to the market. Our office for Sembawang Infarstructure (India) is tucked behind the main building, so it stays a little bit quieter than the street front. It’s a basic setup we have here. We have a few rooms filled with desks and cupboards for all our files. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a functional place to work. We spend most of our day here, dealing with whatever comes up on the computer or on paper. The humidity in the summer can be tough, so we rely on the fans and the old AC unit. There is a tea stall just a few steps away where we usually take our breaks and talk about the news. The people in the neighborhood are friendly enough, and we’ve become part of the local scene over the years. Sometimes the power goes out, but that is just part of living and working in this city. We don't have any big statements on the walls. We just show up and get through the tasks we have for the day. It’s a very grounded way of doing things, and we prefer it that way instead of being in some giant, cold tower.
