Sealand Logistics

Our office is at 26/1 Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road. It is a busy part of the city, and our building sees a lot of foot traffic. We handle all the logistics stuff from here, which means a lot of phone calls and even more emails. The desks are usually covered in shipping manifests and tracking sheets. We spend our hours talking to drivers and warehouse people, trying to make sure nothing gets lost on the way. The street outside is always full of life, and sometimes the noise comes right through the windows. We have been at this location for a good while, so the walls have seen a lot. It is not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls; it is more about folders and old filing cabinets. We drink a lot of tea and coffee to keep going, especially when a shipment is running late. Dealing with the sea and land transport means you never really know what the day will bring. One day it is smooth, and the next day everything is backed up. We just take it as it comes. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes we stay until the sun goes down just to finish the last bit of tracking for the night. We just try to keep the boxes moving and the paperwork in order so everything gets where it needs to go.
