Our small team works out of 14A, Raipur Road Sricolony Kolkata. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main city center, but we still deal with the usual Kolkata humidity every day. Seajaan Logistics Pvt Ltd is basically just a group of us trying to figure out the best routes for moving goods. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to drivers. The office has a few old fans that hum all day long. We don't do much in terms of decorating; there are mostly just stacks of files and a few calendars on the walls. Living and working in Kolkata means you have to be patient with the roads and the weather. Sometimes a delivery gets delayed because of the rain, and we just have to manage it. We’ve been at this Raipur Road location for a while now, and the neighbors know us. It’s not a high-tech setup, but we have what we need to get the jobs finished. We usually have our lunch together at the big table in the back. Logistics is mostly about solving little problems before they become big ones. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure things get delivered to the right address on time. It gets dark early in the winter, and we usually wrap things up by seven if the workload isn't too heavy.
