Out here in Jajpur, Orissa, we run the Schwing Stetter India Pvt Ltd operations from our place in Jari, near Singhpur. It is a bit of a different pace compared to the big cities, but there is plenty of work to do with all the development happening in the district. We focus on the heavy equipment side of things, specifically the stuff needed for concrete work. If you have seen those big orange and white machines on the road, those are probably ours. Our office is a basic setup, nothing too grand, just a place to coordinate everything and meet with people who need machinery for their projects. We spend a lot of time talking to local workers and site supervisors who come by. It gets dusty out here and the weather can be tough, but the machines are built for that kind of thing. We try to help out whoever comes in with a question about the pumps or the mixers. Sometimes we are out on the sites more than we are in the office, but that is just how the business goes. We have a solid routine of checking the logs and making sure the gear is ready to go out. It is a lot of hands-on management. People around Jajpur know us as the ones who handle the concrete gear, and we just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can every day for the local folks.
