We are based at 26/3 B.C. Road, in an old building that has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. The area is quite busy, and you can hear the street sounds throughout the day. Our office is a place where we handle a lot of the technical side of the business. There are stacks of files and drawings everywhere you look. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; you just walk in and one of us will look up from what we are doing to help you. It’s a quiet kind of place compared to the factories we deal with. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer, trying to get the specs right for different projects. The windows are usually kept open to let in a bit of a breeze, though it often brings in the dust from the road as well. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee and tea, which gets a lot of use in the afternoons. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know where everything is, even if it looks messy to an outsider. We don't really go for the corporate look because it just doesn't feel like us. We are just a group of people who know their job and like doing it without too much fuss or bother from the outside world. This building has seen a lot of history.
