The building we are in has seen better days, but it has a lot of history. Our office is a bit of a maze with all the files and old desks we’ve collected over the years. Canning Street is always packed with people and carts, so getting into the office in the morning can be a bit of a struggle. We’ve been operating from this address for a long time. We don’t have any modern glass partitions or bright LED lights. It’s mostly just wooden tables, some old-fashioned ceiling fans, and a lot of paper. We handle various trading and administrative tasks here. The walls are a bit stained from the monsoon rains, and the windows don't always close all the way, but we like the feel of the place. It’s honest. We know the other traders on the street, and we usually get our tea from the same guy every afternoon. We aren’t a big corporation; we are just a local company doing our thing in a very busy part of the city. We keep to our routine and make sure the paperwork is done, day in and day out.
