Sawansukha Jewellers Private Limited

Being on the second floor of No. 9 Camac Street puts us right in the middle of everything. We’re right by Abhinav Bharti School, so we hear the bell ring and the kids shouting during their breaks. It’s a nice change of pace from the quiet work we do with jewellery. Sawansukha Jewellers Private Limited is a place where we spend a lot of time looking at very small things under bright lights. The street outside is always packed with cars and people rushing to work, but inside it’s a bit more focused. We have these heavy safes and a lot of glass cases that we have to wipe down every single morning. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, and we all have to wear sweaters even when it’s boiling outside. We aren’t the type to have big corporate meetings; we usually just talk over the counters or in the small back room while we’re checking stones. It’s a bit cramped when we get a lot of inventory in, but we manage. People come in with all sorts of requests, and we just do what needs to be done. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how many cups to bring up in the afternoon without us even calling him. It's just the way things work around here on Camac Street, and we have grown quite fond of the daily hustle.
