Satyanarayan Iron Foundry

Satyanarayan Iron Foundry is over at 83/3, O Road in Belgachia. If you come by this way, you’ll probably smell the metal and heat before you see the sign. It’s a messy place, to be honest. Ironwork isn’t exactly clean business. We spend our days melting things down and pouring them into molds. The floor is always covered in sand and iron filings. It’s heavy work and our clothes usually end up stained by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. O Road has changed a bit over the years, but the foundry stays pretty much the same. We have some old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still work fine for what we need. It’s mostly just us guys working the furnace and moving heavy parts around. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or anything, just a few big fans that mostly move the hot air around. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the soot, but that’s just life in an industrial patch. We don't do much advertising. Most people know we are here if they need something cast in iron. We drink a lot of water because of the heat. It’s just what we do to get by and keep the business going day after day.
