Amar Ekushe

Amar Ekushe is located over at 125/2 Santoshpur Avenue. It is a pretty easy place to find once you get onto the main avenue. We have been working out of this space for a while, and it has become like a second home to most of us. The office is situated in a way that we get a bit of the street noise, but it’s not too bad most of the time. We have a lot of books and files scattered around because there is always something to look up or document. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have our own system that works for us. We spend our mornings catching up on whatever happened the day before and planning out what needs to get done. There are only a few of us here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing papers. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are deep into a task and realize it’s already late evening. The neighborhood is nice, and we often see the same people walking their dogs or heading to the shops. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays out front. We just have our name on the door and a bell that people ring when they arrive. It’s a modest way to run a business, but we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and try to do things right every single day.
