Santi Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 74 Barrakpore Trunk Road. We are right beside the BPL Gallery, which makes it easier for people to spot us when they're driving by. The Barrakpore Trunk Road is always busy, so there is plenty of noise and movement outside our doors. Inside, we have our collection of ceramic items and tiles. It is not a very large showroom, but we try to fit in what we can. Usually, you'll find one of us sitting at the main desk near the entrance. We spend a lot of time looking at catalogs and talking to the guys who deliver the crates. The floors here have samples of what we sell, so you can see how they look. It’s a bit of a functional space. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy decoration. If the fans are on, it’s okay, but it gets warm in the afternoons. People come in looking for stuff for their kitchens or bathrooms, and we just show them what’s in stock. Sometimes we have to tell them to wait a few days if something is coming from the warehouse. It’s a simple operation. We’ve been at this address for a while now and most of the locals know us. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the inventory is roughly where it should be. It's mostly just hard work.
