Sanjeevani

Sanjeevani is on the ground floor at 8/2 Narkeldanga Main Road. We are right near the Narkeldanga Post Office, which is the easiest way to find us. Being on the ground floor is good because people can just walk right in from the street. Kolkata is always moving, and Narkeldanga Main Road is no exception. It’s noisy, it’s crowded, and there is always something happening right outside the door. Our space is just a regular setup. We have a few rooms and a place for people to sit while they wait. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We spend our time focusing on the people who come in. It’s a local operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the people who work at the post office. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a few of us making sure things run smoothly every day. Sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork, especially when it’s been a busy week. The fans hum all day to keep the heat away. We don't offer anything fancy, just the standard care that people expect when they come to see us. It’s a practical place for practical people. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the neighborhood. We just lock up when we are done and walk down the street to catch the bus.
