Sai Construction

Sai Construction is located at No.52 Malapara Road. You have to go up to the second floor and look for Flat-2B. It’s not a big office building, just a regular place where we have set up our desks. The stairs are a bit steep, so we usually warn people before they come over. We spend most of our time out at building sites, but this flat is where the planning happens. There are always blueprints rolled up in the corners and bits of brick or tile samples lying around on the floor. It can look a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist to greet you. Usually, it's just one of us sitting there working on a schedule or talking on the phone to a supplier. Malapara Road is a busy area, so there is always noise coming in through the windows. We've been in this flat for a few years and it suits us. We don't need anything more complicated than a desk and a good light. Construction is hard work, and we prefer to keep our office simple and practical. We don't use much fancy technology, mostly just pencils and paper for our initial sketches. It’s a small operation, and we like keeping it that way so we can see everything that’s going on. It’s just how we operate.
