We are based out of Dum Dum Cantt in Kolkata. Specifically, we are at 91/3 P K Guha Lane. It’s one of those narrow lanes that can be a bit tricky for big trucks, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Kolkata has a rhythm of its own, and we are right in the middle of it. Safexpress is a big name, but our local office here feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. The humidity can be tough in the summer, and the rain during monsoon makes everything a bit slower, but we keep the parcels moving. Our team is small but they know the city like the back of their hand. We don't have a lot of fancy office furniture. It’s mostly computers, scanners, and piles of boxes waiting to go out. The lane is always busy with people walking and rickshaws going by. It can be a bit loud sometimes. We deal with all sorts of shipments, from small packages to larger crates. Every day brings a different set of problems to solve. We just try to get the work done and stay out of the way of the neighbors as much as possible. It’s honest work. We aren't into big speeches or fancy logos. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the trucks are loaded properly before they head out.
