Safehand Cargo is located on the first floor, Room No 04, at 71/2 Maharaja Nanda Kumar Road South in Baranagar. Being in North Kolkata, we have a certain way of doing things. The building is an older one, and we’ve been in this specific room for a good while. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what we do. We handle cargo stuff every day. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep if you’re carrying things, but we’re used to it by now. Baranagar is a busy area with a lot of history, and we feel like we fit right in. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking manifests. It gets pretty loud sometimes when the street traffic picks up outside. We just keep the fans going and stay focused on the paperwork. There’s usually a lot of back and forth with clients and drivers. We aren't fancy people. We’re just workers who know the cargo business and want to get the job done right. We have our routines, like the mid-morning tea break. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows everyone’s business. We just try to stay on top of the shipments and make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It’s practical work for practical people. That’s just how we operate here on Maharaja Nanda Kumar Road.
