Safe Tools Mfg Co

Our workshop is at 30 Strand Road, which is right near the Calcutta GPO area. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets. Safe Tools Mfg Co has been in this old building for quite a while. The walls are thick, but it still gets pretty hot in the summer months. We keep the fans running all day long, though they mostly just move the warm air around. There's always a lot of activity outside on the street with the porters and the traffic heading towards the river. Inside, we have our manufacturing setup. It's not a huge place, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. We make different kinds of tools right here. Sometimes the machines are a bit temperamental, but we know how to fix them when they act up. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we’re like a small family. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The floors are stained with oil and grease, which is pretty much expected in a tool shop. We don’t have any fancy displays. The tools we make are just sitting on the benches or packed in crates ready to go. It’s a bit of a walk from the nearest station, but the regulars don’t seem to mind the trip. We just focus on getting the orders finished.
