We are located at 5 Clive Row on the first floor. This is an old part of the city, and the building reflects that. It has high ceilings and those old-style windows that let in a bit of a breeze if the weather is right. Being a syndicate, we handle a lot of different administrative and commercial tasks throughout the day. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating things over the phone. The office isn't modern by any means, but it has everything we need to function. There is a lot of history in these streets around Clive Row. You can hear the trams and the general noise of the business district from our windows. We have a small staff who have mostly been here for years. We aren't really the type to have big meetings or presentations. We just sit at our wooden desks and get through the files. Lunch is usually something brought from home or picked up from the street vendors downstairs. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but we are used to them now. It is a very grounded workplace. We don’t go for anything flashy. Most people who come to see us are long-time associates. We just keep our heads down and manage the business as it comes. It is a predictable but busy routine. Every day feels similar, but there is always something to keep us occupied until the evening when we lock up. It’s just how we do things.
