We are located right on Old China Bazar Street. If you know the area near the Calcutta GPO, you know it stays busy from early morning until late at night. We’ve been at 14/2 for a while now. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the stuff coming in and out, but that is just how it is around here. People come by to talk about orders or just to check on what we have in stock. The street outside is always noisy with carts and people shouting, which makes the office feel like it is part of the city’s heart. We handle a lot of different things here at S R Sales Agency. Some days it is mostly paperwork and other days we are moving things around to make space. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks and shelves. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the lists. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It’s a practical place. We don’t have much time for fluff because there is always another truck arriving or someone asking for a price. We just do the work and try to keep things organized. If you are walking down the street, you might miss the entrance if you aren't looking, but we are there, right in the middle of the bustle of old Calcutta. It’s just us doing what we do every day.
