R.V. Mehta & Sons

R.V. Mehta & Sons has its main office at 14 Bentinck Street in Kolkata. We also use P.O. Box No. 2704 for all our official mail. Our location on Bentinck Street is right in the heart of an old trading district. The building we are in has been around for ages, with high ceilings and those old-fashioned windows. We are a family-run business and we have been here for several generations. The name on our letterhead belongs to my grandfather, and we still follow many of the same traditions he started. We don't have a website or a social media page. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. Our office is filled with old wooden furniture and stacks of ledgers that we still use to keep track of things. It is a noisy, busy street outside, but inside it is a bit quieter. We deal with a variety of trade goods and supplies. We don't believe in using big words or making empty promises. If we have what you need, we will tell you, and if we don't, we will try to point you in the right direction. It is a modest way of doing things, but it has worked for us for a long time. We enjoy the routine of coming here every morning and being part of the history of this city. There is always a story to be told over a cup of tea in our office.
