You can find us at No. 18 Ezra Street on the ground floor. This whole area of Rustampur is known for electrical goods, and we are right in the thick of it. United Electric Corporation isn't much to look at from the outside, just a shop front with a lot of wires and boxes visible. We spend our days moving crates around and checking orders for switches and cables. The ground floor is convenient for loading and unloading trucks, which happens a lot throughout the day. It gets very loud with all the shouting and the horns honking outside on the street. Our desks are tucked in the back behind stacks of inventory, so it’s a bit of a maze to get through. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the sales and making sure the right parts go to the right people. The lighting inside is a bit dim, ironically, even though we sell electrical stuff. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time, and the floor is pretty scraped up from all the heavy boxes being dragged across it. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry between customers. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of small items, but that’s the business. The clock on our wall is five minutes fast, but we never bother to fix it.
