Rungta Group

Our office is located at 47/2D Selimpur Road, which is one of those busy streets in Kolkata where there is always something going on. We have been operating from this building for a long time, and it shows in the way the place feels. It’s a traditional setup with heavy wooden doors and high ceilings. We handle a variety of business interests under the Rungta Group umbrella from here. The rooms are filled with old steel cupboards and desks that have been passed down through the years. We spend our mornings going through the mail and checking in with our different departments. Outside, the sound of rickshaws and street vendors is constant, but it’s just part of the atmosphere for us. We don’t have a big neon sign or a modern lobby. Visitors usually just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting nearest the door. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day and discuss the latest news while we work. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is on getting the job done rather than how things look. We deal with a lot of different people, from suppliers to long-term clients who have been coming here for decades. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here that stays the same regardless of how much the city changes outside our windows. We just keep things moving forward day by day without much fuss.
