The colony is mostly residential, so it feels a bit more relaxed than being right in the center of the city. We have a few windows that let in some light, which is nice in the mornings. Dealing with shipping involves a lot of patience, especially when things are stuck at the port or there’s a delay with the paperwork. We just keep at it, one task after another. Most of us have lived in the area for a long time, so we’re used to the local pace of things. We usually have some tea around four o'clock and chat about whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward job in a straightforward office, and we just try to do our bit without making a fuss. Most days go by pretty fast when the shipments are moving and the paperwork is finally getting done.
