You can find Royal Infraconstru Ltd. over at 101 Sarat Pally in the Belghoria area. We’ve been in this part of Kolkata for a good number of years now. The office is right in the middle of a busy residential area, so there’s always something going on outside our window. We mostly work on local infrastructure projects, the kind of things that keep the city running. It’s not glamorous work. It’s mostly about managing crews, checking on materials, and making sure the sites are safe. We have a small team here. Most of us take the train or the bus in every morning. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many maps and project documents piled up everywhere. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing with big presentations. Instead, we have a lot of tea and talk over the plans on the big table. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just keep going. It’s a very local operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the guys who deliver our supplies. Belghoria is a tight-knit place, and we feel like a part of it. We just do our work, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it. It’s a steady pace that suits us. We’ve got an old fan that makes a lot of noise, but it keeps the air moving in the afternoon heat. Our filing system is mostly just folders stacked on top of each other, but we know where everything is. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s ours and it works for what we need to do every day.
