We are located over at 2 A, Durgadas Apartment in the Paschimputiari area of Kolkata. It is a quiet enough spot where we handle all the different parts of our business under the Roy Group name. We’ve been here for a while now, just working through the daily tasks that come with running a few different operations. People around West Bengal know us mostly by word of mouth because we don't do much flashy advertising. The office is usually busy with paperwork and people coming in and out to check on things. We started small, just a few of us in a room, and it grew into what it is today without a whole lot of fuss. Our desks are usually piled with folders and there is always someone making tea in the back. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a practical place where work gets done. Most days we are just focusing on the projects we have going on and making sure the local suppliers are paid on time. If you walk past the Durgadas Apartment building, you’ll see our sign. We keep our hours pretty regular, though sometimes we stay late when there is a deadline. It is just the way things go here in Kolkata. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood because we like the pace of it and it’s close to where most of our staff lives. Nothing too complicated about it. We’re just a local business doing our thing day in and day out.
