Our small group works out of 47 Hindustan Park. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads, which we appreciate. Rou Design isn't some big corporate firm with a glass building. We are just a few people sharing a space that’s usually filled with sketches, fabric swatches, and half-empty coffee mugs. The neighborhood has a lot of old trees and it’s a nice place to take a walk when our brains feel stuck. We’ve been here for some time now and the neighbors know us. Our space has a bit of a workshop feel rather than a sterile office. There isn't a front desk person or a shiny lobby to impress anyone. You just walk in and find us working at our tables. We like it that way because it’s direct and honest. No one here wears a tie or uses corporate buzzwords. We just focus on the projects and try to get the details right. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, ordering food and just keeping at it. The building itself is older, which gives it a bit of character that a new place wouldn't have. We use the address 47 Hindustan Park for everything we do. It’s where we drink our tea and do our thinking. We don't have a marketing team telling us how to sound. We just make things. It’s a simple, straightforward life here at Rou Design. We hope the work just speaks for itself.
