You can find us at Flat No. 412, 77/5, Block E in New Alipore. We are Rosedale Developers Pvt. Ltd., and we work out of this apartment-style office in Kolkata 700 053. It’s a bit different from a standard office building, but it works for us. It feels a bit more like a home, which makes the long hours a little easier to handle. Developing property in Kolkata is a challenge, to say the least. There is always something going on with the land or the permits. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the paperwork that most people never see. We are a small group, and we don't have a big marketing department to write fancy stories about what we do. We just look for spots where we can build something useful. Sometimes the projects go smoothly, and sometimes we run into a brick wall of delays. That’s just the nature of construction and development. Our office is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fans and people talking over the radio. We keep things pretty simple. If you come by, you’ll probably see us looking over blueprints or arguing about where a wall should go. We don't have a polished pitch or a grand vision statement. We just want to get the projects finished so we can move on to the next one. It’s practical work for practical people. That’s how we’ve always done it here in New Alipore.
