It's quite a way out in West Bengal. The road outside can get noisy with trucks and local traffic passing by all day. Our building is where we handle all the work related to flowmeters. It’s not a quiet place, there is always some noise from the equipment or people moving boxes around. Dankuni is a bit of an industrial hub, so we fit right in with the other shops and units around here. The weather gets really humid in the summers, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We’ve been at this address for quite some time, so most of the local tea stalls and small shops know us by name. Inside the office, things are pretty plain. We have our files, the technical drawings, and the shipping area where everything gets packed up. It isn't a place for show. We just focus on the flowmeters and making sure the orders are moving out the door. The commute for some of the staff is a bit long, but we are used to the rhythm of the Hooghly area.
