This unit of ours is located at Factory No. 75 on Netaji Subhash Road in Rishra. Most people find us by looking for the Bhojpuri Pan shop nearby, which is a big local landmark for everyone around here. This part of the road is always moving with trucks and cycles, so it’s pretty loud from the moment we open the doors. This factory is where a lot of the actual heavy lifting happens. We have the machines running constantly, and it can get quite warm inside, especially during the summer months. We don’t have a fancy front office or a cooling system; we just have high ceilings and some big industrial fans that try their best. The floor is concrete and usually has some scraps of material or thread scattered about. We eat our lunch together in a small area in the back, usually talking about the news or how the local cricket team is doing. It’s a very practical place. We aren't here to impress anyone with the decor; we are here to produce textiles. The gate is big and metal, and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We know the neighbors and the delivery drivers by name because we’ve been at this spot for so long. Netaji Subhash Road is a busy place to work, but we like being right in the middle of all the action in Rishra. It feels like a real community.
