Ringfeder Power Transmission

Our office is tucked away in Narayani Tower over in Dumdum. If you know K. B. C. Road, you know how packed it gets with traffic and people moving around. We are up in Block A, Flat 4C. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a power transmission business, being in a residential-style flat, but it works for us. We handle a lot of the paperwork and the technical side of things from here. There are boxes of catalogs and some small samples sitting on the desks. Usually, the fan is humming and someone is on the phone talking about couplings or shafts. It’s not a big corporate floor with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us trying to keep things organized. You can hear the sounds from the street coming up through the windows, which can be a bit loud in the afternoons. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea. It’s a practical space. We spend most of the day looking at orders and talking to clients who need specific parts for their machines. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we just take the stairs. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We just focus on getting the right transmission parts to the people who call us up. It is quiet enough to get work done but close enough to the city bustle.
