I am currently staying at Natural Heights, which is right on the busy 137 VIP Road in Kolkata. My place is Flat C/4 in Block 10. Since I moved into the phase of my life marked as retired, things have slowed down quite a bit compared to how they used to be. Kolkata is a city that never really stays quiet, so living on VIP Road means there is always a bit of noise from the traffic outside. I have spent a lot of years working, and now I just appreciate having a stable roof over my head in West Bengal. The complex here is decent, and I have made a few friends among the neighbors in the other blocks. I spend most of my time reading or just looking out at the city from the balcony. It is a simple life now. I don't have a big staff or a fancy business title anymore, just my name and this address. Sometimes I take a walk down the road to get some groceries or just to see what is happening in the neighborhood. It is funny how you spend decades rushing around only to end up really enjoying the quiet moments in a flat. Everything I need is right here in this part of 700052. It is not much, but it is home and it is plenty for me.
