We are located over at G K Apartment in Laketown, Block A. It’s a decent spot in Kolkata, though the traffic on the way to P 814 can be a headache in the afternoons. Our place is a mix of an office and a space where we handle all the trading details. Boxes come in, boxes go out. We do a lot of the manufacturing side too, which means there is always some talk about materials or shipping schedules happening in the hallway. The Reputed Manufacturing & Trading Company has been part of the local scenery here for a bit. It’s not a quiet job. The phones are usually going off with someone asking about a delivery or a price update on a batch of goods. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a list of order numbers taped near the light switch. The staff here knows the routine well by now. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our evenings making sure the books are balanced. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we manage to find space. People in Laketown know us as the place that’s always busy with something or other. We just do the work, get the trading done, and head home when the shutters go down. It’s honest, everyday stuff that keeps us on our toes and keeps the business running along for everyone involved.
