We are over here at 473 Panashree Pally in Kolkata. It is a typical local spot where the streets can be narrow and things move at their own pace. Our office is not something you would see in a magazine. It is a practical space where we handle all the logistics work that comes through. We have been here for a bit and the neighbors know us well. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of calls about truck movements and checking on the status of different loads. Kolkata-60 is a busy area, especially with all the small businesses around. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy furniture. It is mostly just us sitting at our desks with the fans running. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit slow but the work doesn't stop. We get a lot of local drivers coming in to drop off paperwork. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go when we need a breather from the computers. Dealing with transport in this city takes some patience. We just focus on getting the cargo from one point to another. It is straightforward work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. The office gets a bit dusty but that is just how it is around here. We just stay busy with the files and keep things moving. It gets dark early in the winter but the work stays the same.
