Reliable Construction

We’ve been working out of 1 Kaiser Street here in Kolkata-9 for a good while now. It’s just a regular spot where we keep our tools and handle the paperwork for whatever job is currently on the schedule. Most days start early before the traffic really picks up because getting a truck through these streets later in the day is a headache. We mostly deal with small to medium builds around the neighborhood. It’s messy work, frankly. There’s always dust on the floor and the phone rings at odd hours when something isn’t going right on a site. We don't have a big office with fancy chairs. Just a couple of desks and a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corner. People stop by sometimes just to ask about a wall they need fixing or a leak they can't find. It’s just us doing the work. Some days are long, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or the cement delivery shows up late. We know the area well and have seen how much Kolkata has changed over the years from our little corner on Kaiser Street. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on getting the day's tasks done so we can go home and do it all again tomorrow. Usually, we're out on a site somewhere, so the office is quiet until the evening when everyone heads back to drop off their gear and talk about what needs to happen next.
