Rekha Industries

Rekha Industries is tucked away in Jayasree Park, specifically at 233A in Block B. Most people use the Behala 14 No bus stop as a landmark because it is right near us. It is a typical Behala neighborhood, a bit crowded and full of life. Our workshop isn't anything you would see in a magazine. It is a place where we get our hands dirty and make things. There is usually the sound of machinery or someone hammering something in the background. We started small and stayed that way because it is easier to manage things when you know everyone’s name. The office part of the building is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a desk that has seen better days. We get a lot of local folks stopping by to ask about our work or just to say hello. It can get pretty hot in the summer months, but we have enough fans to keep us going. We do not have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy documents. We just write down our orders in a ledger and check them off as we go. Sometimes we get the measurements a bit off and have to start over, but that is part of being human. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay busy. It is a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. The tea guy comes by twice a day.
