R.D. Bearing & Machinery

We are located at 225 Bidhan Sarani. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy part of town with a lot of foot traffic and old buildings. Our shop is one of those places where the shelves go all the way up to the high ceiling. It’s packed with boxes of bearings and different types of machinery parts. It might look a bit disorganized to a stranger, but we know exactly where everything is. We’ve been on Bidhan Sarani for a long time. People come to us when they can't find a specific part anywhere else. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a counter-service kind of place. You come in, tell us what you need, and we go hunting in the back for it. Sometimes we have to order things in, but usually, we have what's needed. The noise from the street is constant, with horns honking and people shouting, but that's just the energy of the city. We are a small team, just a few of us who have spent years learning about different bearing sizes and machine specs. We don't use fancy software to track everything; a lot of it is just in our heads or written in old ledgers. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing business, but it works for us and our customers seem to appreciate the personal touch we provide.
