RCTC Services is based out of a house in Newtown, Jalpaiguri. It is the home of Ram Krishna Tarafder. Working from a house makes the whole thing feel much more personal than some big city office. We are in the 735101 pincode area of West Bengal. It is a quiet street most of the time, which is nice for getting work done. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. If you walked by, you might just think it is a regular home. Inside, we have a small setup with computers and desks. We handle various service requests that come in. It is a small team and we all know each other well. Sometimes when it rains hard in Jalpaiguri, we have to deal with the dampness and the noise on the roof, but we keep going. We aren't trying to be some huge company. We just want to provide the services we are supposed to. Most of our clients are local folks or people who heard about us from friends. We don't do much advertising. We just focus on the task at hand. It is a simple way of doing business. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking documents. It is a lot of routine work, but it is important to the people we help. We just try to be useful every day.
