Rbm-Tantia (Jv)

Our Rbm-Tantia (Jv) setup is over in Barisha, specifically at Flat B35 on Santosh Roy Road. Alok Tewari is the main person here and he looks after the day to day. Since it is a flat, it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. You have to walk up the stairs and sometimes the hallway is a bit dark if the bulb is out. We have our files and equipment spread out in the main room. It can get pretty humid in Kolkata, so the fans are always going full speed while we try to coordinate the joint venture work. We chose this spot because it is easier for us to manage things without the high costs of a downtown office. There is a small market nearby where we usually get our lunch or some snacks. It is a very normal neighborhood, you see people hanging laundry or kids playing while we are inside looking at site reports and budgets. Sometimes the internet acts up but that is just part of living and working in this part of town. We are just a small group of people trying to keep this project on track. We don't really do anything fancy here, just practical work that needs doing. Most days it is just us and the sound of the traffic from the road outside. It is nothing special to look at but we get our jobs done. The neighbors are nice and don't mind the extra visitors.
