If you are looking for us, we are right on Hospital Street in Kolkata. We occupy a space on the 2nd floor of 7A. Being on Hospital Street means there is always a lot of movement outside, with people heading to the clinics and the various medical shops around here. The building itself is an older one, and our floor is usually buzzing with the sound of the ceiling fans and people typing away. We are an LLP, which is just a way of saying we are a small partnership doing business together. We handle vanijya, or trade, mostly in the local markets but we look further out too. The office doesn't have much in the way of decoration. We have some metal cupboards for the files and a few heavy wooden desks that have been with us for years. It is a bit crowded when we have visitors, but we make do. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. The street noise can be a bit much sometimes, especially with the ambulances and the constant honking, but you get used to it after a week. We focus on the numbers and making sure our clients get what they asked for without any unnecessary fuss. It’s just us doing our bit in the middle of a very busy city. We don't have a mission statement, we just have work to do.
