Ratan Engineering Co

We are located at 26 Prasanna Kumar Tagore Street, which most locals know is right near Ganesh Talkies over by Beadon Street. Ratan Engineering Co has stayed in this neighborhood for years. The area has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk down the street. Our shop is a bit old-fashioned. We have heavy machinery that’s been with us for a long time, and it still runs just fine. There’s usually a bit of oil on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. It’s a workshop, after all. We don't have a fancy sign or a glass front. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for ages or someone told them where we are. Dealing with engineering stuff means our hands are usually dirty by noon. We use a lot of manual tools along with the bigger machines. The streets around here can be narrow and tricky for parking, but we’ve made it work. Sometimes we sit out front for a minute when it gets too hot inside the shop. We aren't interested in being a giant company. We just like fixing things and making parts that people need. It’s a steady kind of life. Beadon Street is always full of life, and being near the old cinema gives the place a bit of character. We just keep our heads down and do the repairs.
