Rasha Ind Pvt Ltd is tucked away on R.N. Roy Chowdhury Lane in Halisahar. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone else. Our building is a bit older, with some patches of moss on the walls from the rainy seasons. We do industrial work here, so it’s not exactly a clean or quiet environment. There’s usually some kind of machine running or something being hammered. We don't have a big corporate office; our workspace is where the action happens. The air in Halisahar is a bit different from the city, and we like being part of this local community. Our team is small, mostly local folks who have been with us since the start. We have a small table where we keep the ledger and the phone, and that’s about as formal as it gets. Sometimes the deliveries are late because the lane is too narrow for big trucks, so we have to move stuff by hand to the main road. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, we are all pretty tired. We don't use fancy jargon or try to impress anyone. We just make sure the goods are produced and the clients are okay. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living in a quiet corner of West Bengal.
