Ranilson Manufacturing Company

We run Ranilson Manufacturing Company out of Flat-1C at 9, Mandeville Gardens. It might seem a bit unusual to have a manufacturing name tied to a residential-sounding spot, but this is where we operate from. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main roads. We don’t have a big factory floor right here in the flat, obviously. It’s more of the administrative side of the manufacturing business. We spend a lot of time looking at designs and talking to the workshop guys who are located elsewhere. The flat is full of blueprints and bits of hardware that we use for testing. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we’re up to with all the boxes coming in and out, but we mostly keep to ourselves. It’s a comfortable enough place to work, though it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of prototypes lying around. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine. If someone comes over, we just pull up a spare chair. It’s an honest way to run things. We focus on the technical details and making sure the manufacturing process stays on track. We've been here for a while and the routine doesn't change much. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep the quality where it needs to be without making a big fuss about it. We’re just a small group trying to get things made right from our little corner here.
